Hellooo everyone! This past long weekend (Wednesday - Sunday) we decided to stay local for Thanksgiving and check out a new area of Oregon that we haven’t seen yet! We packed enough supplies to survive an apocalypse and drove down to Idleyld Park where we stayed in a super cute AirBnb that had everything we needed for a super relaxing Thanksgiving and was in proximity to SO many fun outdoor spots! First on my list was Toketee Falls. I remember seeing this waterfall on Pinterest when I lived in Virginia and thinking that I would die and go to heaven to visit a place like that, and I finally got to! The hike to the viewing platform (third picture) is really easy and the view from the top of the falls is stunning! After viewing it from the top we decided to take the short, very steep and sketchy trail down to the base of the falls for some more pictures and solitude. This is probably one of my favorite waterfalls I’ve ever visited. The bright green trees mixed with the deep blue water and the cool basalt pillars just made for an incredible experience! If you’re in the area I highly recommend this waterfall.
